Marquis Grissom
Co-Founder, Head Coach
Marquis Grissom is a 17-year Major League Baseball veteran, World Series champion, and two-time All-Star. A standout center fielder, he earned four Gold Glove Awards for his elite defense and was known for his speed, leadership, and consistency. Grissom played for teams including the Montreal Expos, Atlanta Braves, and Cleveland Guardians. Since retiring, he has dedicated his life to developing the next generation of talent through elite youth programs and The Hill Boys. His passion for mentorship and excellence sets the tone for everything we do.

Lou Collier
Co-Founder, Head Coach
Lou Collier is a former Major League infielder with nearly a decade of professional experience, having played for teams like the Pittsburgh Pirates, Milwaukee Brewers, and Philadelphia Phillies. After his MLB career, he continued to make an impact internationally, representing Team USA and later working as a scout for the Kansas City Royals. Known for his deep understanding of the game and ability to connect with players, Collier has become a respected figure in youth development. As co-founder of The Hill Boys, he brings unmatched insight, energy, and mentorship to every athlete he trains.

Marvin Freeman
Pitching Coach
Marvin Freeman is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played for 10 years in the MLB. He began his career with the Philadelphia Phillies and later pitched for the Atlanta Braves, Colorado Rockies, and Chicago White Sox. Freeman is best known for his standout 1994 season with the Rockies, where he posted a 10-2 record and a 2.80 ERA, finishing fourth in NL Cy Young Award voting. Known for his lively personality and sharp pitching, he remains a respected figure in the baseball community.

Johnny Estrada
Catching Coach
Johnny Estrada is a former Major League Baseball catcher who played for 8 seasons in the MLB. He began his career with the Philadelphia Phillies and went on to play for the Atlanta Braves, Arizona Diamondbacks, Milwaukee Brewers, and Washington Nationals. Estrada had a breakout season in 2004 with the Braves, earning an All-Star selection and finishing the year with a .314 batting average and 76 RBIs. Known for his strong presence behind the plate and consistent bat, Estrada made a lasting impact during his time in the league.

Antonio Grissom
Assistant Coach
Antonio Grissom is a former professional baseball player and the current head baseball coach at Morehouse College. While he did not play in the Major Leagues, Grissom built a strong reputation as a mentor and coach, working with athletes at various levels of the game. Known for his deep knowledge of baseball and ability to connect with players, Grissom has played a key role in helping young talent grow both on and off the field.

Travious Relaford
Infield Coach
Travious Relaford is a former professional baseball infielder and current assistant coach for Morehouse College. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, he played in the San Francisco Giants' minor league system from 2012 to 2015, reaching as high as Double-A. Following his playing career, Relaford transitioned into coaching. His experience as a professional player brings valuable insight and mentorship to the Morehouse baseball program.

Their careers on the field speak for themselves, but it’s their passion for developing young talent that truly sets them apart.
With a coaching style rooted in discipline, detail, and high expectations, Grissom and Collier bring real-world knowledge, professional insight, and a deep understanding of the game. They’ve trained and mentored hundreds of players, from youth standouts to rising stars in the college and pro ranks — and they’re committed to helping each athlete reach their full potential.
