The Hill Boys was built on a simple but powerful idea: greatness is earned through preparation, passion, and purpose. Founded by former Major League players Marquis Grissom and Lou Collier, the program began on a patch of Georgia clay known as “The Hill,” where a small group of dedicated athletes trained with intensity and focus. What started as a grassroots effort quickly grew into one of the most respected player development programs in the country.
Drawing on decades of MLB experience and leadership in top-tier youth organizations, Marquis and Lou created The Hill Boys to fill a gap — a program that develops not just talent, but toughness, discipline, and character. The results speak for themselves: several of the original Hill Boys have already made it to the Major Leagues, with more close behind.
Today, The Hill Boys stands as a launchpad for the next generation of serious ballplayers. Through advanced skills training, mental performance coaching, and a culture built on accountability and respect, this is where future stars are made.
